I love this professor as a person, he is very kind. I enjoyed asking him questions due to his passion about his work. However, his lectures were incredibly dry. He also assigns a lot of homework and a lot of times the questions are confusing, inconsistent, or straight up wrong. His exams are also the same way. A lot of work for an elective class.

Discussion post, plus two assignments each week. One project and three exams. No textbook used. Some questions on assignments weren't located anywhere in reading material, which made it difficult to get correct. Feedback was never helpful. Would not recommend this professor.

This was my favorite class this semester. Professor Azaizeh is very good at teaching and I would recommend taking his class. The home-works are all online and are very easy. There are only 3 tests and if you review all the homework and practice questions, its the same questions on the tests, so you'll pass with no doubt.

This class wasn't terrible,VERY lecture heavy and 3 weekly homework assignments. 3 exams in total. He has a huge passion for economics and is happy to answer any questions you have. The class was 2.5 hours long and every single boring minute of it was spent lecturing (minus the ten minute break!). Overall pretty decent but not my style of learning.

Do not take his class. This course is very complicated and none of the information he's given to us was helpful. I wish I could've taken this class in person. Way too much information to take in as a "lecture". 4 assignments due in one day. It's ridiculous.

This Professor does not help. Course material is difficult. You will not understand if you are a student who needs help with breaking down concepts. I hope I get a passing grade because the success of his students is not his priority.

I took this professor for macro and he was pretty good. His tests are very hard if you don't understand the basic concepts. If you don't do well on the tests your grade will suffer. my main positive with him is that he is caring and wants his students to do well.

Took the class online due to COVID. Prof. Azaizeh is serious and gets to the point. Engages students by asking questions. Everything is taught off PowerPoints. He's a good guy, but the class is just very difficult. Lots of formulas to remember. There are 2 tests and a final. Test questions can pull from the Excel assignments. Not my 1st choice.

While I have not finished the class yet as we still have the final exam left to go. Let me start by saying this class was difficult for everyone as it was Live-online class with Lectures you most definitely needed to attend. Professor Azaizeh cares about his students and is willing to help them pass if they want to pass. I can't wait for ECO2013.

The only good thing about this class is that homework is due on Monday. If you dont well on the exams you will fail the class. The exams are heavily weighted. It says book is not required but thank God purchased the book because thats what helped me pass this class. Im so happy I dont this professor next semester. Im just glad I got a C!

you have 4 exams and homework every week. The exams are long and you MUST study for them. If you study, they will be easy. You must memorize terms and A LOT of formulas. The formulas will get very confusing if you dont have them memorized. The teacher himself is a good choice, hes not that strict and wants some fun and to answer your questions.

DR. Sofyan was a great professor! I took his economics class online as elective credit and he does not require much. Discussions are easy, his work was always due on a Monday which was very convenient for me because I was taking 3 other classes on top of his, so it made it very easy to turn in work on time. I would take his class again!
