The Cherry Creek School District Board of Education unanimously voted to support the recommended mill and bond package and put both measures in front of Cherry Creek Schools voters in November. Together, these measures represent a significant investment in safety and security, innovation, teachers, and major maintenance projects that will help continue to make CCSD one of the leading districts in the nation.

The Cherry Creek School District (CCSD) is launching a new, innovative program that offers future educators a transformative pathway to become a teacher that is grounded in hands-on classroom experience paired with high-performing mentors. The Aspiring Educator Pathway Program will adopt a model similar to a medical residency program that incorporates a collaborative team-teaching environment with more than 4,000 hours of experience in the classroom, compared to the typical 700 hours.

Keiondra Wilkerson is getting ready for her first year of teaching at Cherry Creeks Schools. She's been a preschool teacher and nanny before but when she decided she wanted to teach full time she knew what district he wanted to teach in.

The Cherry Creek School District and Colorado State University are the only educational employer in Colorado to make the list. Forbes partnered with market research firm Statista to compile its list of the nation’s top 600 employers for women for the seventh consecutive year. More than 150,000 women working at companies with 1,000 or more employees were surveyed.

Cherry Creek Schools has launched a Back to School Hub, a one-stop online resource to make it easier for parents and guardians to get the information and complete forms necessary to start the school year.
